Why 700 Stars Have Mysteriously Disappeared?

Apparently scientist found out that over 700 stars have gone missing. On my journey i personally met controllers, who said, they can make stars vanish. I hope it is not true and there is another reason for it.

Maybe the stars that are missing ascended somehow onto a higher plane. I wish there would be somebody out there that knows more.
