Just a thought here, but I have read elsewhere that some ET civilisations harness the power of stars to jump space. Is it possible the smaller solar flares we are experiancing at the moment are part of the suns natural cycle whereas the much larger one will be the result of a large ET fleet arriving in our solar system? As I say, just a thought.
