42: Atheism as Spiritual Beings? With Brian and Bryant Part 1

Get ready for an intriguing dive into the world of atheism and spirituality with Brian and Bryant in our latest two-part episode. 
Brian works in the healthcare finance field. Around mid teens he began to question and disagree with many of his Catholic upbringing teachings. Whether it was the explanation to the creation of the universe or humans’ role in it. Over time Brian saw religious institutions as something he could not be a part of and started his journey to discover why life and the universe is the way it is without religion as a part of it.
Bryant also works in Healthcare and is an avid bike rider.
In Part 1, we explore their differing paths to spirituality and discuss the essence of atheism, materialist atheism, and the existence of ghosts. We also delve into the prevalence of Abrahamic beliefs in Western culture, humanism, respecting each other’s beliefs, and the human construct of life and time.
